Greetings,
I have a rx7640 server that i wanna install windows 2003 server itanium base edition on. i have downloaded and installed the smart setup cd from the drivers and software support center but my firmware version hasn't change yet. i however went ahead to install win 2K3 but the installation process hangs with a bluescreen error right after it has copy the setup files from the media to the server. Can anyone help me out??

Re: Installing Win 2K3 on rx7640
Dear All,
I'm so grateful to responses that I got from Sakui and Yaqub because they really helped me in finally installing Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition on my rx7640 server. Especially adding the /Novesa parameters to the efi that Sakui showed me. Without that, I found out I wouldn't have completed. Thanks once more to the forum and many thanks to Sakui and Yaqub. May GOD richly bless and increase us all in all things.
Regards,
WAD
