rx6600 installed and available CPU slots from command line or GIU
Dear HPUX Experts,
We have rx6000 server and palnning to upgrade CPU on this box. We would like to know how many CPU slots are occupied, how many free slots availabe for upgrade.
Please assist how to find this infor from command line or thro any GUI?

Just run
machinfo
and
ioscan - fn
and post the result.
The system has 4 CPU slots.
Example:
# machinfo
CPU info:
Number of CPUs = 4
Clock speed = 1396 MHz
Bus speed = 532 MT/s
CPUID registers
...

2 cores, 4 logical processors per socket
532 MT/s bus, CPU version A1
Active processor count:
4 sockets
8 cores (2 per socket)
8 logical processors (2 per socket)
LCPU attribute is disabled
Please let me know how many more free/available for additional CPU install option?

Obviously you already have 4 processors installed.
Post
# ioscan -fn
as requested.
