Please post your log again this time as an attachment (Press BROWSE and point it to your log). There is something in the forum software that sometimes eats part of the log file and it got a big chunk of yours.

Did you want to keep all of the games from pogo.com?

These two processes are definitely evil but their startup line is missing from the post:

Thanks for your help. I have no idea how I got Bargain Buddy - it just "appeared" on my taskbar. I keep removing it but it comes back. I guess I have to use this fix to get rid of it. The copy of the log is attached. Any suggestions will be welcome.

The instructions for Hijack This to fix the problems says to restart the computer in "Safe Mode." I know how to do this in Windows 98 but have no idea how to in XP. Any ideas?

Thank you for your answers. I will proceed with this process tomorrow or Mon. I have tried to delete WebSavingsfromEbates several times but get an "unable to delete" response. I have also tried to uninstall it through add/remove programs and i won't uninstall. I'll try the process you sent and send you back a copy of the log. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
