Intense competition and increasing customer expectations is nothing new for manufacturers.

Remaining competitive has caused many established manufacturers to extend globally, entering new markets and managing increasingly complex supply chains and operations.

Decentralized, digital manufacturing – how are manufacturers dealing with the changes of today's world?

The inflection of new digital technologies such as the IoT, AI and augmented reality are initiating the convergence of plant floor operations with IT, changing manufacturing cycles to ignite innovation, create more efficient operations, reduce downtime and improve worker productivity.

In today’s world of changing trade dynamics and environmental considerations, we are interested in understanding how manufacturers are preparing.  Will the same thinking that spurred digital transformation initiatives define the path forward?
