What is the best way to migrate your config from MSR930 to MSR954W router?

Can I save the 930 config and upload directly to 954?

Hello!

Unfortunately, you can't just copy the config from MSR930 which runs Comware 5 to MSR954 which runs Comware 7. No matter how you will do it - save and copy the config file or copy-paste the configuration in terminal. First, being different models their interface naming differs and second, many features require different command set in Comware 7.

For some chassis-based switches we have migration assistant tools like the one mentioned here - https://community.hpe.com/t5/Comware-Based/Comware-5-to-7-migration-tool/m-p/7032125/highlight/true#M11513 , but not for MSR series.
