HP PROCURVE SWITCH Release dates

I need to create a report on HP switches inventory older than 5 years. I do not find release dates for Switch models. For example 5406zl.

Do you want to know the release date of a certain model?

Or it would be better for you to be able to check when exactly your device was manufactured?

You can use the following page in order to check the warranty status of your switches by entering the serial number and country.

https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/wc/public/home

In the results for a particular serial number you will find the section Base Warranty with Start Date and End Date. The Start Date is typically the date when the device was shipped and should give you an approximate oriantation about the manufacturing date.
