Getting core dump on telnet session
Hi,
We are getting core dump on telnet session . I am working on hp itanium 13.11 version of unix.
The file command of the core is as below
file process_core26-05-35-1
process_core26-05-35-1: ELF-32 core file - IA64 from 'telnet' - received SIGSEGV
I am not able to do the gdb on core as "no debugging symbols found" for the /usr/bin/telnet
Please advice
Thank you
Laxmi

You can still use gdb to get a stack trace.
And you can compare with this recent topic:
