MSM 765zl connectivity issue
Consider the following setup: MSM765zl in a ProCurve 5406zl Switch, static IP on LAN port, Internet port not used. Lan Port of SC is in VLAN33 (untagged). One AP 320 in controlled mode is connected to a different port on a different switch (Vlan 33 untagged, Vlans 2 and 21 tagged). SW revision 5.3.1.
We have defined two non-Acess-Controlled VSCs, one for Vlan 2 and one for 21. Both are bound to the same group in which we have the AP. Egress VLAN set to the apropriate VLAN number. Wireless settings are WPA with dynamic keys, Auth. with a Radius Server. DHCP is provided for each VLAN by an external server, no DHCP pool on the SC.
Now what happens is the following: WLAN clients are able to connect and authenticate successfully. They get an IP address utilizing DHCP and appear on the MSM in the wireless client list. And that's it. No communication is possible in the LAN for the clients. They can't even reach their default GW! It seems they don't have access to the network. I found some references here pointing towards similar problems with different access point. HP guys, any idea?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Communications, Wireless (Legacy ITRC forum) to MSM Series. -HP Forum Moderator

Re: MSM 765zl connectivity issue
Disable Wireless Security. This setting by default ensures that WLAN Clients cannot see each other. Network access is only permitted to the default GW of the AP. However, as the AP's default GW differs from the GW in the client VLAN, our clients couldn't access the LAN at all.
