MSM765zl licensing
After installing a MSM 765zl Wireless Service Controller module license via the CLI (according to the "Installation and Getting started" guide), the license is not visible in the web gui. Following the GUI, we can only enter a "license file", but the license we received by mail from ProCurve was a string.
My questions:
- Why is the license we entered not shown in the GUI? Is there a difference between the licenses on the CLI and the GUI? (Maybe that only licenses like the L3-Roaming license are shown in the GUI)
- Why do i need the license we entered on the CLI? Are certain functions affected when it is not present? The IGSG says "...must be activated and booted before its own CLI can be used". Is the license for the purpose of having CLI functionality?
P.S. This thread has been moved from Communications, Wireless (Legacy ITRC forum) to MSM Series. -HP Forum Moderator
