Integrating System Center Operations Manager 2007 and SIM
In the installation guide it says that scom and sim will work well together. Are there instructions somewhere that tell how to set up the systems to work with SIM, SCOM and insight remote support? I need to get answers for the customer and I am not sure where to start. I have read the installation guides for sim and scom and still am not sure. Has anyone implemented this in their environment?

Thanks for the link, I have looked that material already. Does anyone have this set up in their environment?

Re: Integrating System Center Operations Manager 2007 and SIM
SIM and SCOM can coexist in the same environment. Customerscan choose if they desire to run both servers to meet their needs (for example install SIM to take advantage of the Insight Control Software inducing Insight Power Management). There is no actual connection between the two management servers. No event, state or server information is actually exchanged between the two RMS's (SCOM and SIM).
