I have one MSA 1060 connected with vsphere 8.01.
Storage was working, but the connection stopped after the host shut down for maintenance. At reboot, the initiator seems not connected to a physical port. Some posts talk about VLAN, but I'm not using VLAN.
The error is shown in the attached image. How to reconnect the port?
I use 2 controllers but only two ports are used: one per controller.

SolutionI found my mistake. I don't use chap, the SAN is on a small isolated network, after reboot chap was enabled on the ESXi side.
The problem was that the log didn't display errors relating to authentication.
I didn't realize this and wasted my time and yours.
