I have to add some disks to an LH3 netserver soon, using the builtin RAID controller (Netraid 1M). It currently has a three-disk RAID 5 array plus a hot-spare. I just have a couple of questions:
* Can I add the disks and make the FS etc. with the system running (Win 2000)?
* Can I keep the RAID5 volume and also have another RAID 1 volume with the other two disks?

Solution
Hi Philip,
I don't know what you mean by FS, But it is possible to add the two ned drives and make a new RAID 1 while the server up and running.
However, you have to have Netraid Assistant installed in your system, if you don't have Netraid Assistant you can download and install it from this link

Re: Adding disks to an LH3 (non-rackmount)
Thanks - I have the Netraid assistant installed. Sorry for the abbreviation - "FS" was supposed to be Filesystem ...
