Re: Helpppp !!! no boot to floppy disk to run the scu
I am assuming you are not able to boot from the ServerWorks QuickLaunch CD - is that correct or will it boot but no run the SCU?
Will the server boot from any bootable floppy disk?
If server will not boot from CD or floppy, I would clear NVRAM with System Switch SW1-6, then see if you can boot from CD or floppy.

Re: Helpppp !!! no boot to floppy disk to run the scu
I have a more difficult problem!!!
Afer a NV/RAM clear, now I cannot boot the system. I get a FDD drive A error, and I cannot use the system disk, the RAID would not boot, on-board SCSI boots only with cd-s that do not emulate any kind of floppy (like knoppix), and I do not have the ServerWORKS Quick Launch CD-ROM. I tried to fix the problem with FREE_DOS bootable cd, but it doesn't get to the point where I should recieve the menu, because of a kernel panic of some sort. NOTE that the resources are not allocated corectly since I cannot get in the BIOS (the previous owner had disasbled the bios config utility).
I have tested all the components and they work (including their corresponding cables), still it won't boot beacause of the floppy error. If someone can send me a link to the ISO of the Serverworks Quick Launch Cd-rom, I would be most gratefull. P.S.: Hope that the ServerWORKS Quick Launch does not emulate a floppy drive.
