Hi,
i'm using microsoft cluster service on hp netserver lc2000r.
The netraid-4m cluster resource writes this event in cluster logs exactly every minute...

got the adapter handle = 4096

Re: netraid-4m cluster.log messages
Hello,
IsAlive checking is a normal function of the cluster resource monitor. So in this respect I would consider the behaviour normal.
However, the status code is 1 which usually indicates some kind of error condition as 0 is usually used to indicate success. If the error code is a Win32 error code, the meaning would be:
Incorrect function.
I have seen these errors being reported when there were problems trying to bring a disk on-line. In these cases they were either related to the physical disk file system structure or some filter software sitting between the cluster disk driver and the physical disk itself. However, in your situation it looks like the disk is in an on-line state. Otherwise, there would be no LooksAlive or IsAlive checking done by the resource monitor. If there are no other signs of problems pertaining to disks, I would not make too much of it. Otherwise I suggest you open a support call with HP to work on this matter.
Best regards,
Erwin Zoer
