Netser LC 5/166 will not boot from A drive.
I have been playing with this machine for a little while. The hope is to make it into a BSD web server. It's my first time playing with BSD also. I have multible nics and other old parts, and I have been learning the eisa bus routine with some success. Now for some reason I can not get the Netserver to boot form the A drive. I've swapped out the drive, I've swapped the cable, I've swapped hard drives, I've disconnected and reconnected the battery and tried. The Netserver will boot from the cd. It can not find the root device from the hard drive. I have created new boot disks and write protected them in case of a virus. The A drive lights up during start up but then the machine does not come back to it to boot. So people I need your help! I don't have any more ideas. Thank you in advance and have a Happy New Year.

Great, I got it. Dawn on Marblehead. Flick switch 3 and re-boot. I wish I had a manual.
