AiO 600 and Windows Sharepoint Services

I noticed that Windows Update wants to update the Windows Sharepoint Services 2.0 to SP2.
If I need to update it I'm thinking of upgrading it to WSS 3.0 instead.
Does anyone have experience with running WSS 3.0 on the AiO 600 ?
Are there features on Windows Storage Server that use the components of WSS 2.0 ?

WSS 3.0 is supported on AiO 600 running Windows Storage Server 2003 R2. WSS 3.0 requires .NET Framework 3.0.

Note: .NET Framework 3.0 is in AiO Update 1.3.0 for the AiO product line.
