Extend Logical Drive
HP X1600
Windows Storage Server Standard SP2
Smart Array P212 with six 1’s TB HDDs.
ACU Ver 8.30.5.0
Four Logical drives
- 40 GBs (C:)
- 2 TBs (U:)
- 100 GBs (S:)
- 1 TBs (A:)
Unused Space 1.5 TBs
Last week I performed “Extend Logical Drive” on drive “S:” from 100 GBs to 500 GBs. Once it finished, I went to Windows “Computer Management” tool and “extend volume” on drive “S:”. Now it shows “S:” drive with 500 GBs in size, but show 100 GBs in Windows Explorer. I reboot the server, but still see 100 GBs in Windows Explorer. Your comment will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tee
