ipfilter -e

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help , Im trying to enable ipfilter in a default ruleset to block unauthorized incoming connections, I would append the ipf.conf file as below

block in all

pass in from <allowed net>/<mask>

pass in from <allowed net>/<mask>

assuming my ipaddress is 192.168.2.20, subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.2.1. How should I input the value to allowed net and mask ??

Regards

Vincent

Did your Web search for "ipf.conf pass from" find no useful
information?  I know nothing, but mine found some.  To me, it looks as
if the standard notation is used, so your subnet would be
"192.168.2.0/24".
