Unable to log into HPE 48 Port Serial Switch - Q1P53A
I guess I made a mistake when I was trying setup LDAP on this switch.
I am getting the LDAP Password prompt when I attempt to log in.
I am not even able to log in under admin which I thought I would still be able to. I checked the box that seemed to keep that option open.
I am able to get to U-Boot but am not very familiar with it.
Is there a way I can edit a file to remove LDAP and go back to default?
There does not seem to be a reset button anywhere on this switch.

Here are steps to boot into single-user mode on the switch. Perhaps once you are there you can change your config?

Re: Unable to log into HPE 48 Port Serial Switch - Q1P53A
Thanks for that. I am getting logged in as root but haven't been able to figure out how to disable ldap this way.
I have gone into ldap.conf and marked out (#) the entries but am still unable to log in as the local admin account.
I have tried running the reset-factory.sh but that can't be run when system is logged in.
I am in the pam.d folder but unsure what to modify there.
Sorry for the late reply as I haven't been on site in a bit.

Re: Unable to log into HPE 48 Port Serial Switch - Q1P53A
Anyone that can provide some assistance?
I have gone in and reset the password for admin but it still doesn't allow me to log in that user in either the console nor the UI.
I am unable to run the factory reset sh file due to it being fully booted.
I have been looking through config files trying to find something to allow me to disable the ldap option but having no luck here.
