11.31 and dsf special files

Hi all, someone have a human procedure to change device special files of disk on 11.31?
In cluster environment many customers ask to have same name for same disk.

In old Tru64 this can be done with dsfmgr -e.

Tru64 was amazing i think.

All above i know and i have done, but ..... u think is human?
Hope HP lab find fast a solution for this.
