Adding 2 cpu's to a K380, what to do

We are going to move 2 cpu's and ram from one K380 to another K380 running 10.20 giving it 4 cpu's with additional ram. After moving the ram and cpu's what's neccessary to do to get the cpu's/ram recoginzied?? I would think the kernel has to be rebuildt using SAM. Any info would be appreicated.
Thanks

Should have to just load and start the server. Just make sure that you follow the scheme for adding memory into the memory carriers. There should be a diagram there somewhere.

Mark is correct, you just have to turn it on, the RAM and CPU's will be auto-recognized. Below is the memory on how to add the RAM. If you are using both carriers spread the RAM exactly evenly in order to get the machine to interleave the memory (better access speed).

You may want to consider increasing your swap/dump space depending on how much you currently have configured, and how much RAM you are adding to the system.
Other than that, the 2 previous posts have said it all.

I think you should check if your system recognizes the hw before it starts the sw.
Stop it in the main menu, just after the hw tests, and check if the system sees the 2 CPUs and the RAM.
good luck.
