audit file switch notification to console & syslog
How can I turn these auditing messages, I don't want to see them and it makes working at the console very difficult.
The current audit file is switched from /.secure/etc/audfile3 to /.secure/etc/audfile4.
Notify the security officer to specify a backup.
The current audit file is switched from /.secure/etc/audfile1 to /.secure/etc/audfile2.

Also...
current audit file size = 95156 kilobytes.
audit system approaching AuditFileSwitch point.
current audit file size = 95302 kilobytes.
audit system approaching AuditFileSwitch point.

Re: audit file switch notification to console & syslog
Hi Ross,
If you dont require auditing system, you can just set AUDITING=0 in /etc/rc.config.d/auditing file.
Also dont forget to stop the "audomon" daemon.
Cheers,..!!Granite
