CATIA: DOF_OPEN_ERR/MPM_CLOSEERROR

CATIA: DOF_OPEN_ERR/MPM_CLOSEERROR

Whenever I try to open a DXF or DWG file from Catia 2.3 (on hpux11.0-patch set March 2001) i got these errors:

Initializing...*** Error (DOF_OPEN_ERR) ***
Error opening file .

*** Error (MPM_CLOSEERROR) ***
Error closing file.

I saw a previous posting from Diego MAroto on this issue, but I saw no resolving answers. Has anyone managed to accomodate this?

Any help is welcome.
