CIFS upgrade on HP-UX 11.0

Hi all,
I need to upgrade our CIFS server running on HP9000 system under hp-ux 11.0. The current version is samba 2.2.12. I need to upgrade it to samba 3.
The only depot I found is for hp-ux 11.11 (B8725AA_A.02.03.02_HP-UX_B.11.11_32+64.depot).
I have only a production system, therefore I do not want to swremove the current version and swinstall the new one and see if it works.
Did anyone install succesfully this depot on hp-ux 11.0? can I use swverify to find out if this depot is installable on hp-ux 11.0.
Note: at this moment we do not consider to upgrade hp-ux 11.0 to higher version.

HP CIFS Server support for HP-UX 11.0 only goes up to version A.01.11.05 (2.2m), which is Samba 2.2.12 (sorry for the version confusion). This is by design. The 11.11 HP CIFS Server .depot will not work for 11.0.

To run HP CIFS Server based on Samba 3, you will have to update to HP-UX 11.11 or later.

You can also run Opensource Samba 3 on HP-UX 11.0. You can compile your own Samba binaries, or you can install HP-compiled Opensource Samba binaries that we have placed on the Samba website. These are not supported by HP, and the HP lab will not be contributing later versions to the Opensource site. Here is the url:
