Configuration incorrect

I have this strange problem: in the binary file is present a configuration with lan0 stand-by of lan4, but in my network the lan0 is stand-by of lan5. Now if I try to correct the error I find that the cmcheckconf it fails with: sdbmot02 lan0 successfully received from sdbmot02 lan5 but sdbmot02 lan5 did not receive from sdbmot02 lan0.
Someone it has succeeded something of similar?
For courtesy you do not answer with simple hypothesis (banal verifications of lan, errors etc), are 4 days that 3 people are verifying...
It seems that the check it verifies beyond that in rows ASCII also in the binary file (that turns regularly).
The workarround chosen it is to remove the node and to insert newly. What of it you say?

Re: Configuration incorrect

Hi,

What did you expect us to say other than verify the lan or use linkloop or other troubleshooting methods?.

I had seen this error if the interface is pre-alloted with 0.0.0.0 network. Run netstat -in, followed by ifconfig on the interfaces that show "*" next to them. If the IP is 0.0.0.0, then unplumb the interface and try again.

#ifconfig lan5 unplumb

Make sure there are no interfaces with 0.0.0.0 address on all the nodes and then try applying the configuration.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try
