Configuring Printer Script For HPUX 10.20
I'm trying to add a 2300 LaserJet printer to my HPUX 10.20 box using JetAdmin. The printer has a JetDirect card and I can add it to the spooler. My problem is that I need to modify the model.orig script so it prints out to the lower tray. Does anyone have a model script that will do that? The other problem is that I don't see the 2300 series in the list to choose from when I run JetAdmin, so I use some generic LaserJet. Any help would be great!

Re: Configuring Printer Script For HPUX 10.20
It depends on your version of JetAdmin, but we have at least the LJ 2100 in our database, though it still uses the lj4x scripts.
Check the script for the default value of mediasrc. It should be defined to "def". If you change that to your tray number, it should solve your problem, I guess. If it is not in your script, you need a newer version of JetAdmin or use a different printer model.

Every problem has at least one solution. Only some solutions are harder to find.
