DNS problems on RedHat 8.0

Attached are my config files for the DNS on the Linux 8.0
I'm using BIND 8.3.4
Please take a look at the attachment and let me know what do you think, why am I getting the errors. The errors are on the end of the file.
This is my test enviroment, that I will have to integrate with the Windows.

Re: DNS problems on RedHat 8.0

Almost sounds like bind isn't running.

Do a ps -sf |grep named

Also try uncommenting by removing the // in front of query-source address * port 53;
Then restart named.

/etc/init.d/named restart

Re: DNS problems on RedHat 8.0

Hi Miro,
where is the forward lookup entry in your db.ittest.com file for com1?

com1.ittest.com. 1D IN A 127.0.0.1

It should read

com1.ittest.com. 1D IN A 10.10.10.130
localhost 1D IN A 127.0.0.1
