We have a PA-RISC Machine running HP-UX 11.23. The current aCC version is A.03.65 and we need to downgrade it to A.03.35.
Can you please tell me from where I can download version A.03.35 and what are the steps to downgrade the same?
Thanks
Gab

Solutionswremove the old
swinstall the new
An swinstall will not normally overwrite the old version.
Plus what I advise is best practice most of the time.
As far as getting the old version:
You need to pull it from an application cd or open a response center call and they will if you have software support set up a temporary ftp site to get you the software. Be sure to say please.
They might present you another option of dealing with this issue if you give them the details.

Re: Downgrading aCC Compliler
Why? A.03.65 should be compatible with A.03.35. Unless you have this Warning 1039 problem:
http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/site/dspp/menuitem.863c3e4cbcdc3f3515b49c108973a801/?ciid=4a083a7373f021103a7373f02110275d6e10RCRD#faq-compat
Also, this 6 year old version isn't supported on 11.23.
>SEP: It just occurred to me that A.03.35 may never have been released for 11.23
Right.

Re: Downgrading aCC Compliler
As SEP guessed at, you're out of luck here... 03.35 is for 11.11 only - you could only revert to that version if you downgraded the OS as well. Full release history for the PA-RISC compilers is available here:
http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/site/dspp/menuitem.863c3e4cbcdc3f3515b49c108973a801/?ciid=2645dec4c7563110VgnVCM100000275d6e10RCRD#b11.23pa
Why do you think you need this old version anyway?
