Re: Enable the largefile option after creating the file system

It appears that there is a -o largefiles on newfs. newfs_vxfs(1M) says to also see fsadm_vxfs(1M) and that says it does it.

newfs -F vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vg00/rlvol9

Hi,
if this is a brand new (no data) fs then the answer is to re-run your newfs command with the -o largefile option.

However, if this is a already used fs then you should use the fsadm command

see "man 1m fsadm_vxfs"

fsadm can be used for this.
