Itanium rx4640 hpux 11.23v2
when a boot drive fails in a mirrored set;
what is the procedure to fix this.. i have a new drive to install.
do i have to break the mirror etc...? is there a doc that explains this that i can't find? there are EFI partitions in Itanium and i am not sure of the procedure.

Re: failed boot drive (itanium)
hi,
Pull the other disk out and wait a few minutes, you probably wont be able to break the mirror, and replace disk.
Do a fresh ioscan to find disk and insf to recreate device files
And then basically you have to partition the disk up with idisk and restore/sync the mirror as normal with LVM procedure.
Then you will need to copy the Diagnostics onto the Service Partition HPSP.
