flex software install problem

Hi,

I am having a problem with loading flex software, error message is cannot load yacc, see file attachment for error mesg and procedure i am using to install the software.

WHY not install a PRECOMPILED version???

Hi,

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gnu/flex-2.5.4a/
has the flex for all versions which is precompiled (.depot format)
never give up

Thanks for the replys.

Problem was that i did not have my .profile file set up with the $PATH of the software.

When i sorted that out - the flex software got installed no probs!
