gain root access to J6750s via the COMM

Hi,
I want to acces J6750 without video card, I trying to conect via COMM1 from my PC with null modem cable ,I received the messajes but the keybord isn´t response.
my configuration is :
9600 8 N 1 xon/xof vt100.

Anybody can help me
