GNU question

I have two erroe messages.
The one message is:
oa1#[/opt/lotus/bin]./nsd
ERROR: Incorrect version of the GNU debugger (gdb) was found. The current version is 'HP gdb 2.1'. The required version is 'hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00'. Note that the required version must by built on the same type of hardware and OS that it will be used on.
User signal 1
Another message is:

Try to install this version
http://hpux.asknet.de/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gdb-5.2.1/
