HELP - CD's whith ServiceGuard A.11.14 needed

Hello,

We want to upgrade our MC/SG A.11.12 to A.11.14 on our HP-UX 11.00 servers. We need to upgrade first our MC/SG and after that we will plan to upgrade from HP-UX 11.00 to 11.11.

Now we need the "HP Application Software" CD's whith "MC/SG version A.11.14" on it.

HP stated that we need the following:
"Install bundle B5161FA (ServiceGuard A.11.14) from CD5 between March 2002 and March 2004".
But they didn't help me to get these CD's.
They coudn't tell where to go.

I believe if you have got a license for this product they might have shipped this Application CD's to you.

We have a lisence since 2001.
But we don't have these CD's!

You need to contact HP software contracts (the hardware people won't know about CDs and codewords). You'll need a set of CDs for both 11.11 OS as well as applications. The old 11.00 CDs won't work with 11.11. There will be a different codeword for those CDs.

Hi,

We want to install MC/SG A.11.14 on a HP-UX 11.00 system.

So we need HP-UX 11.00 CD's, if I am right?

HP can't tell me where to find these CD's because the version isn't anymore in service by HP.

I want to know of somebody can help me with a (copy) of the application CD's with MC/SG A.11.14 on it for HP-UX 11.00.
Because the need of the software key I presume this should not be illegal?
We pay for the license so it should not be a problem?
We only can't get our hand on a (copy) of these CD's!

Per the compatibility matrix at http://docs.hp.com/en/5971/SG-SGeRAC-EMS-Support.pdf A.11.14 was released March 2002 and was available on the forthcoming Application CD/DVD media sets until A.11.15 introduced in September 2003.

A.11.14 was available of the following releases of the Application CD media:
Mar 2002
Jun 2002
Sep 2002
Dec 2002
Mar 2003
Jun 2003 (SG-OPS only)

Yes, you will need the 11.00 Application CD set. You will also need new codewords because your current codeword only works with the CDs you currently have. The codeword must match the CD partnumber. You can get the codewords from HP electronically.
