High consume of CPU by samba
Hi,
We are presenting high consume of CPU by samba daemon, sometime until but of 50%. we have reviewed several items (LAN, domain, etc.) but the issue persist.
The concurrent error in the logs is:
Aug 30 20:38:51 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: domain_client_validate: Domain password server not available.
Aug 30 20:39:08 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: [2005/08/30 20:39:08, 0] smbd/password.c:(1601)
Aug 30 20:39:08 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: domain_client_validate: Domain password server not available.
Aug 30 20:39:24 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: [2005/08/30 20:39:24, 0] smbd/password.c:(1601)
Aug 30 20:39:41 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: [2005/08/30 20:39:41, 0] smbd/password.c:(1601)
Aug 30 20:39:58 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: [2005/08/30 20:39:58, 0] smbd/password.c:(1601)
Aug 30 20:40:02 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: [2005/08/30 20:40:02, 0] rpc_client/cli_trust.c:(247)
Aug 30 20:40:02 asuccs40 smbd[5472]: 2005/08/30 20:40:02 : change_trust_account_password: Failed to change password for domain FOREST-BCV.
I attach file with import information ( SO, smb.conf, error, top, glance,etc.).
Please, somebody could help me with this case, i'm not expert with samba.

Well first off...I would set
password server=dc1, dc2, dc3, etc
and not to *
You may also want to migrate to Samba 3.
