hp vm version 1.03.50 and windows client

we have a virtual windows 2003 server installed on an hp integrity rx6600 running hp-ux 11.23 and integrity vm 3.50... periodially the windows server appears to hang, can't ping it, doesn't respond to words of kindness, just like the real thing. is there anyway within vm we can tweak the windows server ? if we stop and the start the server it's ok.
