HPjmeter 3.0 / 3.0a
I need to be able to install two versions of the same HPJmeter (3.0 / 3.0a)software concurrently on my HP-UX 11.23 system. Does anybody know an easy way of doing this? I've tried using the swinstall -s /tmp/'path to depot' and then changing the swinstall options to 'Allow creation of multiple versions' but this just overwrites the first version with the second.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: HPjmeter 3.0 / 3.0a
Here are some threads about using swinstall to install to alternate roots or to alternate paths.

A product must be locatable to have multiple versions. I don't know if swinstall GUI allows you to change it, even though you said "Allow creation of multiple versions".
To check, you can do:
swlist -l product -a is_locatable -s $PWD/jmeter.depot

Re: HPjmeter 3.0 / 3.0a
I talked to the lab guy about HPJmeter and he said it wasn't likely it would work with either alternate root or another location.
He also said, there is no reason to keep 3.0 around since 3.0a has just fixes.
