Remember that *all* accounts have their passwords expire when converting a system to trusted. You may wish to re-enable their account as well, as after three unsuccessful attempts the account will be disabled. To re-enable:
# /usr/lbin/modprpw -k

I believe you will need to add the device file run by getty for your modem like tty0p0 into /tcb/files/auth/ttys file. Add it exactly like the other entries in that file. Take a copy of it before modifying it.
