HPUX DST Patch impact on Siebel 7.8

We installed the HPUX Patch PHSS_35379 on some of our servers running HPUX 11.11 and Siebel 7.8. After installation, the Siebel application could not start. We had the remove the above patch. Has anybody faced this issue?

We installed the patch PHSS_33944 (AA runtime libraries patch) that needs the dependency patch PHSS_35379 (ld and linker tools cum patch).

phss_35379 has a dependency on phkl_29243. did that get installed as well?

Can you let the Reponse Center know about this, we don't want this to hold up and DST patches.

If you don't get any satisfaction on this dld patch, you might try installing the previous aC++ runtime patch with Y2K7 fixes, PHSS_33942. This requires PHSS_33035. Perhaps PHSS_33035 doesn't have your dld issue?

There is a good chance that PHSS_33035 doesn't have the problem in CR JAGag23939.
