Is it possible to create an ignite server image on a laptop, either linux or windows, and then connect the laptop into the primary network port and boot off the laptop as an ignite server. A little bit like the concept of using a solaris jumpstart server.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated

Re: ignite server
Ignite is hp-ux product. It has nothing to do with linix/solaris. So what you are thinking is not possible.
There is no substitute to HARDWORK
