Hello hello!
We have an L3000 server with a new, cold install of 11.0.
We installed Ignite UX, made an ignite recovery tape, tested the tape for bootup....all looks ok.
We've setup a few uers in sam, no issues here.
All has been fine for the past week, no problems.
We just downloaded HP11e134 (Jet Direct for Unix) from the hp web site and installed this on our system today.
We then used the command /opt/hpnpl/bin/hppi and setup one printer, without any problems.
We went into sam to view the printer that we had configured, we set this printer as the default printer, exited sam.
We went back into sam, went back to the printers, and then we got this error:
UNEXPECTED EXIT: rocess LANG=C LC_ALL=C /user/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 9681 -s lp_printers /usr/sam/lib/lp.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.
sh: 9746 Illegal instruction(coredump).

If I check the status of JetDirect, it shows configured.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what we can do to correct this? We aren't 100% sure that installing the JetDirect is our problem.....but we haven't had an issue for the past week...so we are wondering if it's this software?
Any help/ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA!

Re: Illegal instruction(coredump) error
