Re: K Class Chasis code help
If you have added non-standard hardware, you need to remove it.
Otherwise this is probably a hardware issue and you need to have HP hardware service replace the effected parts.

Re: K Class Chasis code help
1.Changed the console to a good one
2.Power cycle
3.When the testing messages are displayed on the LCD I caught a glimpse of the following "WARN 9001 CONSOLE"
4.I caught another glimpse of the following "WARN A088"
5.Final LCD display is as follows
FLT A088
BOOT DEV 0
6.Turn the key to service
7.Hit "Control B" on console, no response

Re: K Class Chasis code help
search the following link for k class servers information.
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/hw.html
It sound to me like a hardware error on your k class server.
also this link seems similiar to your problem.

Re: K Class Chasis code help
http://www.openpa.net/doc/k-class-leds.html
FLT A088 = No console found, unable to boot
WARN 9001 = Alternate console(s) not found
WARN A088 is not listed. Are you sure it was not "WARN A008"? That would be "no bootable device found".
It seems your console connection is still not functional.
