K580 upgrade 11.00

I need to know what patches are neccasary for a K220 - K580 upgrade running 11.00.

At 10.20 you needed a list of patches to recognize the new hardware, Is this needed at 11.00 ??/

For 11.00, there are no hardware patches for the K220 and the K580 upgrade will come with the latest firmware (assuming you bought it from HP). HP-UX 11.00 will run fine on 11.00 but keep in mind that there's the CPU and then there are I/O cards and disks and tapes, etc. These may require patches to start working or more important, patches to fix problems. For *all* releases of HP-UX, you should install 3 packages of patches from your SupportPlus CDROM: HWE (hardware), QPK (software quality pack) and Online Diagnostics. If you have no HP support, you can download these packages from:

Note that 11.00 is going out of production very soon, The current version of HP-UX is 11i, version 1. You can't use 11i ver 2 on the K-series of boxes.
