local console access via Kermit

Hello!
I have on a remote site new rp2620 system "A" without MP, only with local console.

I have heard, that I could connect this locale console of "A" with configured MP of other rp2620 box "B" with null-modem cable and use Kermit to access remotely this locale console of system "A".

Any ideas or experience?

Try: 9600 8bit No Parity, FlowControl: Xon/Xoff software (not h/w).
