login error
i have HP-UX 10.20 server that run a special application , we add user to the unix using specail command from this application which will add the user to /etc/passwd file and when i use the xmanager to login with this user it does not login,and when i use the su command it give the following error and does not login
"Cannot start with Fail Safe session. Exiting ..."

Check the permissions of the users homedir.
Check the passwd file for errors

1. did you check if entry for this user in /etc/passwd is correct ?
2. did you check if user home directory exist and has correct permisions ?

can you show me /etc/passwd entry ?
did yoy try to login by telnet to system as this new user ?
