Memory Usage

Dear All,

How would I identify and measure the actual memory being used by each unix process.

Regards,
Pat

Re: Memory Usage

Shalom,

A third party utility called lsof can also give you details.

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/lsof-4.77/

You may find lsof works better by compiling it yourself off the source.

Also glance gives you a gui that lets you drill down and see a lot of detail on memory use.

Glance is on your application cd's and a 60 day trial is possible prior to deciding whether to buy it.
