Re: Message in syslog.log

The first message is easy. There is a feature, introduced via a patch in 11.0, I believe, called /etc/default/security that allows you to specify security policies related to login and password requirements. Do a man on security for further details.

The second message would seem to indicate that you have an unsupported device connected to your system.

Re: Message in syslog.log

Hayse,

About the first error, please check that you have the /etc/default/security file in set or is missconfigured.

For info take a look at the man security page.

Jaime

Re: Message in syslog.log

Hayse,

The second error that you are getting, is becuase an unsupported hardware on that machine, you will have to remove the drivers for it.

Best way to do it in this instance is by rebuilding kernel manually, you will have to reboot the machine.

Regards,

Jaime.
