Can anyone help me to get rid of following message to syslog.log? If the storage is mounted to this system then messeges stop but whenever the storage (I mean cluster package)is mounted to another storage the messege begins to come out with an interval. Please tell me how can I stop it.
# tail -f /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
Jun 5 05:28:59 sbnrev01 syslog: Waiting for filesystem containing /u03/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/db_1/bin/crsctl.

Re: Messege comes out from oracle directory
Which OS version ? are you using Veritas CVM ? or shared VGs ?
when you are relocating the package from one node to another - are the filesystems being inmounted successfully pn node1 prior to they being mounted on node2 ? Are there any error logs in the cluster package log on node1 ?

Re: Messege comes out from oracle directory
I found one instance in which patch PHKL_21765 is suggested for a situation where umount loops waiting for filesystem to become inactive at http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/hp/2003-q1/0038.html
and the latest patch would be http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?patchid=PHKL_33355&sel={hpux:11.00,}&BC=main|pdb|search|

Re: Messege comes out from oracle directory
I didnot use CVM or shared VG. Yes, during relocating the package from one node to another the filesystems being in mounted successfully pn node1 prior to they being mounted on node2. I have to unmount the specific voloume manually and then package can failover to another node (2nd node). But I am not getting this type of messeges from 2nd node when package is mounted on primary node. Please help.
