missing threads in Java-VM Thread dump

Using Glance Plus for a performance analysis of a java process shows threads which are cpu intensive.
A thread dump (kill -3 analysis) of the java VM does not list these threads (GlancePlus lists 4 more threads than the java VM does).

Is this a VM-Bug or can I be shure that these threads are no application threads ?

OS HP-UX 11.00, Java-VM 1.4.2.03
