NFS - large files
I have a problem in NFS when file is bigger than 4 GB.
3 GB NFS is working properly
4,5 GB - there is no access when I trying to copy this file.
Is there limit of a file size in NFS ?
HP-UX 11.00

Re: NFS - large files
Are you using NFS version 3? You can check this using nfsstat -m.
Are both client and server on HP-UX 11.00?
Regards...
Dietmar.

Re: NFS - large files
Hi,
There is an option whereby you increase the max size limit for a file you copy.
Are you copying this file with root permissions.
If that is the case, then the problem lies somewhere else. Maybe you can upgrade your NFS version.
If it is a user id that is not able to copy that file, you need to look for the parameter. I am trying to look for it and will let you know.

If you need to learn, now is the best opportunity
